GenoTher Summit 2026: A Second Edition to Accelerate the Future of Genetic Medicine
Building on the success of its first edition, the GenoTher Summit returns on June 17 and 18, 2026, at the Maison de l’Océan in Paris for a new international gathering dedicated to genetic medicine. Over the course of two days, the event will bring together more than 400 participants and 40 international speakers.
Organized by GenoTher, a France 2030-certified biocluster, the event will bring together all stakeholders involved in the development of advanced therapy medicines, from research to commercialization.
A program at the heart of the sector’s transformations
Over two days, more than 40 leading international experts from academic research, biotechnology, the pharmaceutical industry, clinical development, bioproduction, regulation, and investment will share their expertise and insights.
More than 400 participants are expected to discuss the profound changes currently transforming the field of genetic medicine.
From ultra-personalized treatment to larger-scale applications
One of the major challenges addressed at the Summit concerns the shift from treatments developed for a very limited number of patients, sometimes just one (n-of-1), toward more standardized approaches capable of benefiting a larger number of people.
Strengthening technologies, from design to bioproduction
The program will also focus on the technological innovations needed to support this scaling up:
- design of new vectors,
- more effective administration strategies,
- bioproduction and industrial translation,
- integration of engineering principles from the early stages of research.
These discussions will provide a better understanding of the technological levels essential for transforming a scientific breakthrough into a concrete therapeutic solutions.
Artificial Intelligence, a Catalyst for Therapeutic Innovation
Another key theme of this edition: the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in genetic medicine. Experts will analyze how AI is redefining the entire therapeutic value chain, from the design of new drugs to their production and clinical evaluation, with the goal of accelerating development while improving precision and safety.
A catalyst for collaboration in the service of patients
Designed as a true catalyst for partnerships, the GenoTher Summit fosters exchanges and meetings between academic and industrial stakeholders, in a spirit of collaboration and co-creation. The ambition is clear: to accelerate the transformation of scientific advances into accessible therapeutic solutions, benefiting patients with rare diseases as well as those with more common conditions.
Strengthening France’s and Europe’s position in genetic medicin
With this second edition, GenoTher reaffirms its leading role in building an ecosystem of excellence, helping to strengthen France’s and Europe’s position in the global race for innovative therapies.
